These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of chauffeur-driven vehicle hire services provided by Ostentatious Car Rental (OCR Rental) (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By making a booking, you (“the Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with UK law.
1.1 All vehicles are supplied exclusively with our professional chauffeurs. Customers are not permitted to drive the vehicles themselves.
1.2 Vehicles must not be used for any illegal activities, and customers must ensure their conduct complies with all applicable UK laws.
2.1 The minimum rental period is 1 hour.
2.2 All bookings must be paid in advance before the rental period commences.
2.3 Delivery within the North East of England is free of charge. For locations outside this area, a delivery fee will be applied, calculated based on distance from OCR Rental.
2.4 All prices include the chauffeur’s service.
3.1 Customers may cancel a booking within the same day of placing it without incurring any cancellation fee.
3.2 For cancellations outside this period, refunds may be considered at the company’s discretion.
4.1 Since vehicles are chauffeur-driven, customers will not be held liable for standard driving-related legal issues.
4.2 However, if a customer’s actions directly cause damage to the vehicle or the chauffeur, the customer will be liable for repair or compensation costs.
4.3 If a customer’s actions result in the vehicle requiring specialist cleaning (e.g., spills, vomiting, or similar incidents), a fixed cleaning fee of £150 will apply.
4.4 Customers must notify the chauffeur in advance of any luggage, items, or substances that could potentially damage the vehicle, harm the chauffeur, breach local laws, or damage the reputation of OCR Rental.
5.1 All vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking for safety and operational purposes.
5.2 Customers must not interfere with or attempt to disable the tracking systems.
5.3 The chauffeur reserves the right to refuse service if they reasonably believe a customer’s behaviour, possessions, or requests could endanger safety, breach the law, or damage the company’s reputation.
6.1 Customers must treat chauffeurs with respect at all times. Abusive, aggressive, or illegal behaviour will result in immediate termination of the service, with no refund.
6.2 Any fines, penalties, or damages arising as a direct result of the customer’s actions will be charged to the customer.
7.1 OCR Rental will not be liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or circumstances beyond our control.
7.2 Our liability for any claim arising from the rental service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that booking.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website and will apply to all new bookings.
